Ok, so most of you know how absolutely insane my family is! Noah was nominated as Student of the Month from all the kids in his school. (He's in the only white child on the stage!) However, the other families applauded politely when their students were called up. Not us! Dad had made posters, 10 of them to be exact. Some said, Congrats Noah, Noah for President, Noah Student of the Month, etc. There were 11 of us there plus people from church so when Noah's name was called we went crazy, yelling and waving our signs. The newspaper was there taking pictures and they took a picture of us!!! The principal said we won for the most enthusiastic family!!! Just kind of fits doesn't it??? And for those of you who are Matt's family, he joined right in!!!!

LOL, could he look more like Matt?? Here's my little school man. I still can't get over the fact that he is in kindergarten!!!! He will be 6 in three weeks and I think, man, when did that happen?!?!?! He proves to be a challenge at times. But he can also be so mature and caring. I love to watch him play with his sisters; he is a great big brother! He is very protective of them, especially Sydney. And you have to love the toothless smile!

Ahh, Emma. She is something else. She has the most gorgeous curly blond hair. When I put it up it makes her look like an old fashioned girl. She is too stinking cute for her own good. And she has the most adorable voice, of course not when she is shrieking which she tends to do. She is most definetly a middle child!!! Isn't amazing how four children can be from the same family and be so completely different from each other????

Moving

So here's the dilemma.......We have lived with my family for 8 months. And God is good, it has been a fairly painless and, sometimes, even a fabulous arrangement. We are feeling the need, however, to start looking for a place of our own. This creates a rather large dilemma for us. We would like to live near my folks and grandparents, but there is nowhere to rent that we can afford, or they run a credit check which we fail :( So now what?!?!?!? I know God has a plan, just wish He would reveal it to me NOW! Any thoughts anyone?

Irony

Isn't it ironic? Do you remember that song? Alas the song had nothing really to do with true irony. I was pondering this today as I was cleaning. Some of you are going, "CLEANING?!?!? Mandi?!?!?" Yes, I know, it's shocking. But the Lord has placed me in two places where I clean weekly. Isn't it ironic that one of the things that I loathe the most I am now doing for a living!!!!! I give roses to all the people who clean for a living. More power to you!!!!

Ok, so I know we all want our children to walk and it's so exciting. However, when your youngest starts running at 10 months, you wish that she would have stayed a baby a little while longer!!! Sydney is keeping up with her siblings, no problem. She continues to amaze us with how much she can do at such a young age. And isn't she cute?!?!

My little gymnast

She is such a midget! But she does so well in her gymnastics class. She is not afraid of the big balance beam or the vault. Her coach sings her praises about her natural ability. She adores it and it has given her an outlet for her vast amounts of energy! So be watching in about 10 years, this one is going to the Olympics!

Another Christmas

And here we all are......another Christmas... Posted by Hello
It's hard to imagine that Christmas has come and gone again! We were comparing last years pictures to this years, noticing the differences. The biggest difference of course is that we have Sydney this year. Only I had her last year! The kids look so much older and grown up! And of course this is the year of the haircut. More on that later.

Here are the kids Christmas Eve, can't believe how big they are getting Posted by Hello

Beginnings

Beginnings......how appropriate. I'm not sure how I feel about publishing daily or weekly thoughts.....not sure my thoughts are that important. And of course, will anyone read them? but it is a good way for friends and family to know what is going on. So here we are.......the beginning.
